SocDevJustice is a nonprofit tax-exempt organization that promotes the attainment of social justice, democracy and human rights through reform of global development policies and improvement in global governance. SocDevJustice monitors in particular two processes of the United Nations: 'Social Development' and 'Financing for Development'. It also promotes the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals as a step toward poverty eradication, decent work for all and full social inclusion in a sustainable global economy. Our Areas of WorkSocDevJustice works in the areas of social development, financing for development, innovative resources and global governance. The organization drafts and publishes papers for the purpose of information exchange, advocacy work and development education. SocDevJustice also organizes seminars and conferences on certain relevant topics at home and abroad. In addition, SocDevJustice offers training for non-profit nongovernmental organizations in the area of development policy. | | Social Justice in Global Development e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger eingetragener Verein, der sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, das Thema der sozialen Gerechtigkeit sowie die Förderung von Demokratie und Menschenrechten stärker in die Politik und Öffentlichkeit zu rücken. Er tritt ein für die Verbesserung der globalen Entwicklungs- und Strukturpolitik.
SocDevJustice engagiert sich insbesondere in den beiden Prozessen der Vereinten Nationen: 'Soziale Entwicklung' und 'Entwicklungs-finanzierung'. Darüber hinaus setzt er sich für die Verwirklichung der Millenniums-entwicklungsziele ein als einen Schritt in Richtung Armutsbekämpfung, menschenwürdige Arbeit für alle und volle soziale Integration in einer nachhaltigen Weltwirtschaft.
Unser wissenschaftlicher Beirat: 
Unsere ArbeitsbereicheSocDevJustice arbeitet zu den Themen soziale Entwicklung, Entwicklungsfinanzierung, neue Finanzierungsinstrumente, Auslandsverschuldung und globale Strukturpolitik. Die Veröffentlichungen des Vereins dienen dem Informationsaustausch, der Advocacyarbeit und der entwicklungspolitischen Bildungs- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Ausserdem führt SocDevJustice Seminare und Fachkonferenzen zu bestimmten relevanten Themen im Inland und Ausland durch.
Darüber hinaus bietet SocDevJustice Fortbildungsveranstaltungen für Multiplikatoren von gemeinnützigen Nichtregierungsorganisa-tionen (NGOs) im Bereich Entwicklungspolitik an.
